Phish have shared the first pro-shot video from their ambitious Halloween cover set, where they embodied the invented Scandinavian quartet Kasvot Växt and disguised 10 new originals as an ’80s synth album.
The tune, dubbed “The Final Hurrah” came in the middle of Phish’s fictitious í rokk LP, with Page McConnell and Trey Anastasio trading vocal duties and declaring the band and album translations as the mantra “Faceplant into rock.”

November 2, 2018 at 10:24 pmDoes this sound like ‘Feel Like a Stranger’ much? Is this a jab at Bob Weir & Company with “you can recycle the last hurrah” and Trey’s overplaying at the end, a la John Mayer? Just a thought that immediately came to mind.
