Late soul singer Charles Bradley will release his posthumous record Black Velvet on November 9 via Daptone’s Dunham Records.
Today, the label has shared a new single off the 10-track LP, entitled “Can’t Fight The Feeling.”
“For some reason I always thought we hadn’t finished the vocal track but, to my surprise, not only was it finished, it was a powerful performance by Charles and the band is on fire to boot,” producer and co-writer Tommy “TNT” Brenneck said of the newly unearthed track. “Why it didn’t make [Bradley’s 2011 record] No Time For Dreaming? I have no idea.”
