This past weekend, Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon and Keller Williams’ Keller & The Keels took over Colorado’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre for an evening of jamgrass performances that featured several of the collected musicians sitting in with each other’s bands.

As JamBase reports, the night kicked off with Keller & The Keels’ opening set, which featured Leftover Salmon’s Andy Thorn and Railroad Earth’s Tim Carbone, who both came out for a cover of The Doors’ “Roadhouse Blues.”

Up next were Leftover Salmon, who brought out Larry Keel for “Troubled Times” and “Funky Mountain Fog Down” and collaborated with Williams, Carbone, RRE’s Andy Goessling and more for “One of These Days.” Railroad Earth’s own headlining set then featured former Aquarium Rescue Unit keyboardist Matt Slocum for the entire performance. Slocum has recently filled in for Goessling for some of the band’s gigs. RRE ran through some staples and also tracks from their new EP Captain Nowhere, which the band was giving out to fans at Red Rocks.
