Earlier this month, the Jerry Garcia Foundation and the Playing for Change Foundation launched the #RippleEffect #StoriesofGratitude social media art project. Participants are encouraged to create a visual “ripple effect” by sharing stories of gratitude and kindness via social media. Folks are encouraged to offer their own artistic interpretation of a ripple effect and the tag with #RippleEffect, #StoriesofGratitude, #GlobalArt, #JGF or #PFCF. A #RippleEffect Global Art Collage will be created from the submissions, and shared on the Garcia Foundation website. Some of these posts also will be included in a compilation video to be released on Playing for Change Day 2015, which takes place on September 19. The Jerry Garcia Foundation was founded in 2015 by Jerry’s daughter Keelin and her mother Manasha. For more information visit www.jerrygarciafoundation.org.
