The Drive-By Truckers will make their way to Tucson to open a West Coast run on Wednesday. The band, which is currently making the rounds in support of its new disc The Big To-Do, will likely win new fans this summer when it opens a number of shows for Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. These dates are mostly in the Midwest, from June 22 through July 24.

Meanwhile, to mark the release of the first single from The Big To-Do (“This Fucking Job” aka “Working This Job”), the group is hosting a Working This Job Video Contest. “Fans can enter to win by making a short video about their job experience and uploading it to YouTube (where you can also check out Mike Cooley talking about his worst job ever). In addition to having the chance for your footage to be used in a new Drive-By Truckers video, fans have the chance to win lunch for their whole office, a brand new flippin’ Flip Camera, and a meet & greet with the band (where you can tell them face to face about your fucking job).”
