A number of musicians will come together for A Concert for Loved Ones in Haiti on February 14. The Valentine’s Day benefit will take place at Pittsfield, MA’s The Colonial Theatre and proceeds will help raise funds for Haiti earthquake relief. Local heroes Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion will anchor the event. Other acts scheduled to appear include: Bobby Sweet, Vetiver, Tift Merritt, Meg Hutchinson, Kris Delmhorst and other members of the Guthrie family. As previously reported, Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion recently recorded a series of songs with Thom Monahan and Andy Cabic from Vetiver and Gary Louris of the Jayhawks.
