The Contribution will make its recorded debut in 2010. This project features Railroad Earth’s Tim Carbone and String Cheese Incident’s Keith Mosley and Jason Hann along with Phil Ferlino and Jeff Miller of New Monsoon. The quintet will not perform together on Saturday night in Boulder (as Hann is in the Midwest with EOTO) but it is possible that some of the group’s material will make it to the stage. Carbone, Moseley and Friends are on the bill at the 7th Annual Mark Vann Foundation Holiday Benefit. This show is set for the Boulder Theater and will also feature sets from Great American Taxi, Elephant Revival, Euforquestra, Pete Kartsounes and Black Swan Singers. The evening will raise money for the Mark Vann Foundation, which honors the life of the late Leftover Salmon banjo player with its mission “to serve community based non-profit organizations bringing light, love and laughter into the lives of those in need through nature, music and the arts; and to provide a conduit for kindhearted people with similar values to nurture impactful positive change within their own communities.”
