Last weekend Dark Star Orchestra guitarist John Kadlecik appeared with Bob Weir and Phil Lesh in Furthur. While rumors persist that there may be some additional Furthur dates in 2009, Kadlecik will be finishing out the year with DSO. The group has announced a four show New Year’s Eve run that will carry the band to Virginia and Maryland. On December 28, DSO will appear at The Norva in Norfolk, VA, followed by a show at The National in Richmond, VA on the 29th and then a two night stand at Rams Head Live! in Baltimore on December 30 and 31. A special NYE VIP ticket is also available, which includes Dark Star merch, champagne toast, finger foods, party favors, an exclusive viewing area and more with the full details at www.darkstarorchestra.net.
