On Sunday, Railroad Earth headlined Aspen, CO’s Belly Up club as part of the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Festival After Dark series. The gig coincided with New Monsoon guitarist Jeff Miller’s birthday and, partway through their second set, the members of Railroad Earth sang happy birthday to the axe-man who was in attendance. Miller then emerged for a run from “The Hunting Song” into “Mountain Time.” Railroad Earth will perform at Ithaca, NY’s State Theater this evening.
