Donna Jean Godchaux will appear on David Gans and Gary Lambert Tales from the Golden Road radio program on April 12. The show airs each Sunday from 5-6 PM EST on Sirius XM Grateful Dead channel. The former Grateful Dead singer is expected to discuss her inaugural tour with the new Donna Jean Godchaux Band with Jeff Mattson.
As previously reported, the new ensemble will kick off a run of shows an appearance at Salem, MOs Springjam at Camp Zoe on April 17. The group will then make appearances at Tulsa, OKs Flytrap Music Hall (4/17), Wantagh, NYs Mulcahys (4/23) and Whippany, NJs Ukranian American Cultural Center of NJ (4/26). The Donna Jean Godchaux Band with Jeff Mattson will also play a free midnight show at Philadelphias McFadden’s on May 1 after The Dead play the Spectruma venue which happens to be located right across the street from McFadden’s.
