Last Wednesday when The Bridge performed at the Blue Nile in New Orleans, they invited local resident Ivan Neville to join in for a cover of Tom Waits’ ‘Way Down in the Hole.’ Last night in Tucson, AZ, Neville appeared at The Hut with his group Dumpstaphunk and returned the favor. Dumpstaphunk brought out The Bridge guitarist Cris Jacobs for covers of Rolling Stones’ ‘Streets of Love’ and ‘Miss You.’ Both bands will perform this evening, with The Bridge in San Diego at Winston’s and Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk at the Rhythm Room in Phoenix.
