A number of New Orleans musicians have confirmed late-night shows around the Big Easy timed with the Voodoo Music Experience. The latest is George Porter Jr. will play no less than two shows at two different venues on Saturday, October 25. At 10 PM, Porter will perform with his current band PBS at New Orleans Howlin Wolf. He will then move across town to Tipitinas Uptown for a midnight show with Russell Batiste, Ivan Neville, Ian Neville and special guest Fred Wesley. Given his track record, Porter may also stop by another show before sunrise. PBS will appear next at Asheville, NCs Loki Music Festival this Saturday.
