Next Saturday, September 29, the Sautee Jamboree will return to the Sautee-Nacoochee Center in Sautee, Georgia. The event will be an all-day affair, starting at noon, with a chili cook-off, a mountain arts and crafts fair and live music supplied by Col. Bruce Hampton and the Quark Alliance, Blueground Undergrass, The Lee Boys, Big City Sunrise and others. The Sautee Jamboree serves as a benefit to support the Sautee-Nacoochee Community Association, which is working on preservation work in the region since the late 70s.
