Since splitting with RAQ a few years ago Marc Scortino has kept a relatively low profile, though the keyboardist did play with his former bandmates in Brooklyn last November. Last Thursday Scortino took the stage once again, making a surprise appearance with the Ryan Montbleau Band at Captain Nick’s on Rhode Island’s Block Island. Scortino added accordion to both the Montbleau original ‘Quickie’ and a cover of Paul Simon’s ‘That was Your Mother’ midway through the groups second set. The hard touring Ryan Montbleau Band will headline a Rocks Off Concert Cruise on August 31.
