Bright Eyes is currently in the middle of a seven night stand at New Yorks Town Hall with bluegrass-star Gillian Welch supplying support duties throughout the run. Each night of his residency, Bright Eyes visionary Conor Oberst has invited a special guest to the stage during his headlining set, including Jenny Lewis, Ben Kweller and none other than Lou Reed. On Friday, The Velvet Underground leader emerged to play two songs from his solo canon with Bright Eyes, Waiting For The Man and Dirty Blvd. Special guests are expected to play with Oberst each of the remaining nights of his Town Hall stand, which continues tonight.
