As of late, former Jambands.com New Groove of the Month, Delta Nove, has been rehearsing with fellow Long Beach, California resident Greg Ginn. Ginn, the founder and guitarist of Black Flag, applies a unique and often abstract approach to his instrument that has elicited comparisons to Ornette Coleman by Black Flag vocalist Henry Rollins. Delta Nove and Ginn (who also founded famed the famed SST label while still a teenager) will join forces on June 1 at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA for what one hopes will be the first of multiple live collaborations.
