Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi have announced that they will tour together in a new configuration. The married couple will join forces for the Soul Stew Revival Tour, whereby Tedeschi and her current sax player, Ron Holloway, will be part of a group that consists of the Derek Trucks Band along with Derek’s younger brother Duane on drums. The Soul Stew Revival will begin on June 7 at the Dallas House of Blues and travel west, wrapping up on June 22 in Portland at the Oregon Zoo Amphitheatre. In addition, those who attend the Wanee Music Festival will receive a sneak peak of the collective on April 14, supplemented by DTB’s New Years Eve horn section.
