Memphis, TNs annual Beale Street Music Festival has confirmed its initial artist lineup. The multi-day gathering will take place May 4-6, boasting an eclectic mix of classic-rock, roots, pop, and jam acts. The Allman Brothers Band will headline the festivals opening day, topping off a lineup which also includes Gov’t Mule, The Derek Trucks Band, North Mississippi Allstars, Social Distortion, Three 6 Mafia, Richard Johnston, Robert ‘Wolfman’ Belfour, Jerry Lee Lewis, Hubert Sumlin & Willie Big Eyes Smith, Plain White T’s and Popa Chubby, among others. A day later Steely Dan will handle headlining duties, closing out a day which boasts appearances from Keller Williams, The John Butler Trio, Godsmack, George Thorogood, Wolfmother, Kenny Wayne Shephard, Taking Back Sunday, Taj Mahal, Old Crow Medicine Show, Jack’s Mannequin, , Alvin Youngblood Hart, and The Duhks, among others. Finally, Counting Crows will close out the festivals final day with help from Umphrey’s McGee, Guster, John Legend, Elvin Bishop, Barenaked Ladies, The Lee Boys, and James ‘Super Chikan’ Johnson, among others.
