As of late Levon Helm has focused his performances on weekly gigs at his Woodstock studio. However on St. Patrick’s Day, Helm who played drums and sang many of the lead vocals with the Band, will travel to New Yorks Beacon Theatre for a date with his current group. The opening acts will be the Alexis P. Suter Band will and Ollabelle, the group that includes Helm’s daughter Amy. In the interim, Helms Midnight Rambles will continue with Larry Campbell joining the Levon Helm Band this Saturday.
