The North Mississippi Allstars will show off its acoustic side this winter. On February 7 and 21 and March 15 and 29 the trio will perform a series of acoustic shows at Oxford, MSs Proud Larry’s. Similar to the Dickinson Brothers recent acoustic set at New Yorks Bowery Ballroom, Cody Dickinson will switch from drums to guitar for these performances. The North Mississippi Allstars electric tour will kick off February 2 at San Franciscos The Independent. During the NMAs recent road break Luther Dickinson has kept busy, performing with JJ Grey on Jam Cruise and at the Bowery Ballroom with Rich Robinson and surprise guest Patti Smith.
