Its been eight years since Dave Matthews Band opened for another artist, but Tuesday the quintet supported the Rolling Stones at Seattle, WAs Qwest Field. The groups short set included material from throughout its career and some extra wind power from trumpeter Rashawn Ross, who spent the past year on the road with the band. During the Rolling Stones set, Matthews himself returned, adding auxiliary vocals on Let it Bleed (Matthews appears on the Rolling Stones 1998 live album No Security). Dave Matthews Band will support the Rolling Stones once again Friday at El Paso, TXs Sun Bowl Stadium.
