A year after Hurricane Katrina, the Voodoo Music Experience will return to New Orleans’ City Park fulltime on October 28 and 29. Last year’s festivities were spilt between Memphis and New Orleans, featuring such artists as Nine Inch Nails, Queens Of The Stone Age, the Secret Machines and the Rebirth Brass Band. 2006’s lineup promises to be equally eclectic, boasting sets from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duran Duran, the Flaming Lips, Drive-By Truckers, the Wu-Tang Clan, My Chemical Romance, the Secret Machines, the Brazilian Girls, Broken Social Scene, Mute Math, Ozomalti, Yerba Buena, Big Sam’s Funkynation and the Rentals, among others.
