Former Grateful Dead keyboardist Vince Welnick will join Cubensis for a series of shows this spring. For his third outing with the Dead-tribute band, Welnick promises all your classic Dead favorites, plus a surprise or two. Welnick will join Cubensis from its March 30 performance at Santa Ana, CAs Galaxy Theatre through the groups April 4 gig at Santa Rosa, CAs Last Day Saloon. The groups April 1 show at The Ojai Classic Rock Festival 2 will also feature a number of noted cover bands including Which Ones Pink (Pink Floyd), Led Zepagain (Led Zeppelin), Peace Frog (The Doors) and Almost Brothers (Allman Brothers), among others.
