While in the studio working on its second studio album at Echo Park, CAs Beer Wine Fish, the Benevento-Russo Duo has confirmed the final piece of its extended spring tour. On March 1, the paired performers will hit the road with an opening spot for Soulive at the University of Pennsylvania, before linking up with the Benzos for a run through the south. From there the group will zigzag across the country, concluding with a performance at Austin, TXs Stubb’s on April 22 (the group will also travel to Europe for a few days as part of the second annual Jam in the Dam). As for the groups current studio sessions, the Duo hints at some changes saying that drummer Joe Russo has strapped on the Tele early in the session and we haven’t been able to get him to sit down at the kit since.
