Strangefolk, which recently performed its first show in nearly a year, has confirmed that it will be back for three dates in late January. The band had taken time off due to guitarist Jon Traftons bout with rectal cancer, but as he revealed in his recent Jambands.com interview, his treatment has been successful and he is hankering to play once again. Thus, the band has announced shows for Burlingtons Higher Ground (January 27), Bostons Paradise (January 28) and the Pickle Barrel in Killington, Vermont (January 29).
