Galactic has invited a number of intriguing openers on the road as part of its Ten Year Invasion Tour . Over the weekend, wordsmith Lyrics Born supplied support duties in Detroit, MI, Columbus, OH and Lancaster, PA. Each night, Lyrics Born also added some words to Galactics set including a particularly memorable moment at Columbuss Newport Music Hall. Lyrics Born emerged during Pack Up four songs into the groups first set, before the New Orleans natives slipped into Hot Pants Road. Galactic and Lyrics Born will perform tomorrow at South Burlington, VTs Higher Ground. As previously reported, Galactic will also return to New Orleans on New Years Eve for a performance at Tipitina’s Uptown.
