Last night Dave Matthews Band made their way to the Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee, MN. This show had been originally slated to take place on June 23, however that date was postponed due to weather.

Folks who attended the rescheduled gig witnessed a special night as Sierra Ferrell joined DMB. Ferrell had been in the area following a Sunday gig at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

Towards the close of group’s set, Ferrell appeared on vocals for the country classic “Long Black Veil.” This was the same song she performed with the group, during her lone prior guest appearance, at the Gorge on 9/3/23.

While she only performed one tune with DMB back in ’23, she joined in on two others at Mystic Lake. She remained on stage for the group’s debut cover of The Beatles’ “Don’t Let Me Down.” Then, she returned during the encore for a duo version of “Papertown” with Matthews.

DMB is off until a return to the Gorge this coming weekend.
