The Flecktones may currently be on a break from touring, but two of its members are as busy as ever on the road. Bassist Victor Wooten is currently touring in support of his latest solo album , Soul Circus, and joining him for a portion of his outing will be his brother—-and fellow Flecktone—-Futureman and his aptly named The Futureman Project. Both Wootens will appear at the Charlotte, VA’s Neighborhood Theatre (10/11), New Haven’s Toad’s Place (10/13), Boston’s Berklee Performing Arts Center (10/14), Glenside, PA’s Keswick Theatre (10/17) and Boone, NC’s Legends at Appalachian State (10/19). Victor’s show will be showing off his bass theatrics through a range of soul and funk material, while The Futureman Project will explore the percussionist’s vision of tribal and electronic music.
