Last night Mike Gordon’s tour with Leo Kottke intersected with the Duo’s current west coast outing. After performing a ninety minute set with Kottke at San Francisco’s The Fillmore, Gordon ventured over to The Independent where paired performers Marco Benevento and Joe Russo were beginning their own set . Gordon brought along his bass and played on a number of tunes including the Duo’s ‘Scratchitti’ and his own ‘Mike’s Song.’ The Duo will perform tonight at San Juan Capistrano, CA’s The Coach House while Gordon and Kottke will appear at Seattle’s Moore Theatre Sunday. Mike Gordon will also be the subject of a new Jambands.com interview going live early next week.
