The Bamboo Room in Lake Worth, Florida will bring together a number of New Orleans-based artists for two hurricane relief concerts over the weekend. Kirk Joseph (Dirty Dozen Brass Band), Mark Mullins (Bonerama) and Papa Grows Funks John Gros and Jeffrey ‘Jellybean’ Alexander will join Papa Mail, JJ Grey (MOFRO) and local musicians at the club on Friday and Saturday nights. Cajun food vendors will be on hand both evenings, along with an auction and raffle, to raise proceeds which then will be directed to the MusiCares Hurricane Relief Fund affiliated with the Grammy Awards’ governing body, the Recording Academy.
