Fifteen artists have signed on to offer their take on Sound Tribe Sector 9s last studio effort via Arifact: Perspectives. Bill Laswell, Karsh Kale, Genetic, Richard Devine and Mr. Liff are among those who have offered their own remixes of the tracks that originally appeared on Artifact. Some music is dropped into multiple new contexts as Elliot Lipp & Leo, Collective Efforts and Mr. Lif all take on Possibilities while Somesing is remixed by Bass Nectar and Eustachian. STS9 released Artifact: Perspectives today and will mark the occasion in Hawaii with shows on Thursday through Saturday.
