This years MagnoliaFest will feature a day devoted to the life and music of Vassar Clements. Sunday October 23 will begin with Rev. Jeff Mosier presenting some readings in celebration of Clements. Mosier will later perform with his Blueground Undergrass on a day that also will feature the Joe Craven Trio, The Duhks, Jim Lauderdale and Donna the Buffalo. In addition, Peter Rowan will dedicate the Magnolia Bluegrass Jam to Clements, with Tony Rice, Bryn Bright, Sharon Gilchrist and many others participating as well. The festival will return to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida on October 20-23.
