Strangefolk has not performed since guitarist Jon Trafton announced last February that he has been diagnosed with rectal cancer. However, fans should take heart in learning that Trafton and the group will come together for one show, next month. Strangefolk will perform on October 21 at The Big Easy in Portland, ME. It is expected that this will be the bands only date for the remainder of the year while Trafton continues to recover and band member Luke Patchen Montgomery welcomes the birth of his second child. Trafton, Jambands.com welcomes Jon back to the stage for what should be a fine evening of music and more.
