For the second year in a row, Addison Groove Project took top honors as Best Funk Or Jam Act at the Boston Music Awards. Dave Adams, who plays alto Saxophone with the group, was on hand to accept and dedicated it to the groups late bass player John Hall. Other awards went to Ray LaMontagne for Major Label Album of the Year (Trouble) and Song of the Year (Trouble), Susan Tedeschi for Blues Act and Averi for Best Local Pop/Rock Band. The AGP will perform a handful of dates over the coming weeks, with their next gig on October 8 at the University of New Hampshire Memorial Union Building.
