RANA guitarist Scott Metzger has two weeks left in his band’s current Tribeca Rock Club Thursday residency (Sep 29 and Oct 6). However, he will follow that up with another regular series of shows, this time at the Old Office at the Knitting Factory. Here will debut Welcome to Metzgerville, a project that will also include Justin Wallace (ulu) on bass, Kevin Kendricks (Fat Mama) on vibes and an unannounced drummer. The first Metzgerville gig will take place on October 9 and will continue on Wednesdays at the Old Office through November 6. The group has been working up songs for these shows which will not focus on free-form improv.
