Percussionist Johnny ‘Starrcatt’ Polansky has issued a statement on his website, announcing that he is leaving ekoostik hookah. Polansky, who began performing with the group in 1995, soon after he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in percussion, points to management practices rather than musical ones as the source of his decision. He concludes his statement, by noting, I would like to wish Cliffy, Dave, Ed, Eric and Steve much luck. I hope they all find the happiness and success each of them deserves for many years to come, that Ive enjoyed with them for so long.
