Wilco will release its first live album, Kicking Television-Live in Chicago, on November 1. Recorded at Chicagos Vic Theatre last May, the two-disc set documents the groups current lineup: Jeff Tweedy (guitars/vocals), John Stirratt (bass), Glenn Kotche (drums), Mike Jorgensen (keyboards), Nels Cline (guitars) and Pat Sansone (multi-instruments). Though this recent live set was initially intended to be the companion piece for a proposed concert DVD, the group currently has no plans to release any film footage. In addition to material drawn from throughout Wilcos catalogue, the set includes a cover of Charles Wrights Comment, first added into the groups repertoire in December 2004. Wilcos next scheduled performance will be September 18 at Tinley Park, ILs Farm Aid. The group also has dates scheduled in Columbia, MO, Tulsa, OK, Austin, Indianapolis, Asheville, NC, Atlanta and Rio de Janeiro.
