The Hippy Hill Hoodang is a new festival scheduled for August 27-29 in Bean Blossom, IN (and you find the name to be a bit, well, hippie-dippy as least one can appreciate the alliteration). Two stages of music will be set up at Bill Monroe’s Bean Blossom Memorial Music Park and Campground to showcase a range of artists including Umphrey’s McGee, Leftover Salmon, Col. Bruce Hampton and the Codetalkers, MOFRO, the Zen Tricksters and Brothers Past. For more information on the Hippy Hill Hoodang (and you know, it really is fun to utter the words ‘Hippy Hill Hoodang’) can be found at the festival web site.
