The latest summer festival will take place on the grounds of New Jersey’s Stone Pony from June 4-6. The Great Bamboozle will celebrate the Asbury, New Jersey venue’s 30th anniversary with performances on two stages from a number of artists including: moe., Sonic Youth, Galactic, Chris Robinson, My Morning Jacket, Railroad Earth, Antigone Rising, OM Trio, The Breakfast and RAQ. The event is named after the festival promoters’ beliefs that ‘Asbury Park was ‘bamboozled’ for years by shady politicians and developers.’ Indeed, despite the festival hosts’ repeated references to a ‘hippy army,’ given the event’s line-up, many folks are optimistic about the intentions of these latest Bamboozlers.
