After soliciting the opinions of fans through a survey on its web site, the Dave Matthews Band has announced that it is pursuing the top choices of respondents. As a result, the group has revealed that it is planning a festival event ‘in the NYC metropolitan area for the Saturday and Sunday of July 4th weekend.’ While the DMB works out details, it is once again encouraging fans to fill out a survey to gauge interest in the event.
