Yesterday we reported on David Lowery and Johnny Hickman’s collaboration with moe at the Langerado Music Festival, however this was just one of a few sit-ins that took place over the course of the weekend. For instance, also at Langerado, Felix Pastorius (son of Jaco Pastorius) sat in on bass with ulu for a bass duel with Brian Killeen during ‘Bert’s Meatballs.’ Later, ulu’s Scott Chasolen appeared with Perpetual Groove during a late night post-Langerado performance at Club M. Chasolen joined PGroove keyboard player Matt McDonald on keys for covers of Outkasts Unhappy and Can You Get To That by P-Funk. ulu and Perpetual Groove will share a bill on Wednesday night in Savannah, GA at The AASU Fine Arts Auditorium.
