Former Jazz Mandolin Project bass player Chris Dahlgren is back from Germany for a month and will join the quartet for a number of dates including four New England shows opening for Ratdog. For this incarnation of JMP, Jamie Masefield will be joined by Dahlgren, drummer Greg Gonzalez and Mike ‘Mad Dog’ Mavridoglou on trumpet and keys. Also in March, Masefield will perform weekly acoustic duo gigs with guitarist Doug Perkins at The Starlight Lounge at The Eclipse Theater in Waitsfield, VT on Thursday March 11, 18 and 25.
