Over the next two weekends, Mark Karan and John Molo will perform together in two separate contexts. Tonight at The GoodHurt in Los Angeles, Karan will be the special guest performer with Molo’s Modereko (which is also on a Saturday night co-bill at San Francisco’s Fillmore with the David Nelson Band). Next Friday, the drummer and guitarist will gig with their group Jemimah Puddleduck, a quartet that also features Molo’s Modereko bandmate and fellow long-time Bruce Hornsby collaborator JT Thomas on keys and Bob Gross on bass.
