Phish has announced that it will perform its only U.S. shows of the spring in Las Vegas. The band which is currently working on its next studio release with producer Tchad Blake (Los Lobos, The Bad Plus, Phantom Planet) will emerge to appear at the Thomas and Mack Arena on April 15-17 (and yes, poker neophytes, trips is indeed proper parlance for three of a kind). This will be the first time that group has performed a three night stand at the venue, the site of a Kid Rock sit-in on 9/29/00- and (co)incidetally, Rock is scheduled to perform in Vegas at Mandalay Bay on April 17. Tickets will first be available via Phish’s on-line ticketing service next Friday February 13.
