Rocking out is a laudable intent and Jerkwater Ruckus aspires to do just that at its ‘Jerkwater Ruckus Mardi Gras Rock Out.’ The event will take place at Valentines in Albany on Saturday February 21st, (techincally ‘samedi’ rather than ‘mardi’ but a night better suited to the aforementioned rocking). Doors will open at 6PM with music to start shortly thereafter for what is being billed as an indoor music festival. Ominous Seapods founder Dana Monteith will host the event which will also include appearances by Rezi, Scarecrow Collection, Sage, the Brian Kaplan Band and Hollow.
Jerkwater Ruckus, which was joined by Addison Groove Project keyboardist Rob Marscher on Friday night for JR’s ‘Go’ at Revolution Hall, in Troy, New York, will next perform on Friday February 13 at King’s Tavern in Saratoga Springs, NY.
