The Haymaker Music Festival will take place May 7 and 8 on the Oakley Farm in Spotsylvania, VA. The roster of performers who will take the stage over two days includes Little Feat, Keller Williams, Reid Genauer and the Assembly of Dust, MOFRO, Tea Leaf Green and Drive-By Truckers. The ticket price, including camping, is a very fair $45 (although each vehicle will be charged a $5 Land Restoration Fee, so save dough and carpool- plus hey, there’s that bonus environmental benefit). For those traveling to the site, Spotsylvania was the location of intense, combative Civil War skirmishes and the National Park Service maintains a few area historical sites.
