Thursday February 26 will mark the first date of the Surprise Me, Mr. Davis tour, which will feature a collaboration between the Slip and Nathan Moore (ThaMuseMeant). The nine shows currently scheduled, which will take place in the northeast, will celebrate the release of a recording that Moore and the three members of the Slip crafted during a snowstorm last winter. Surprise Me, Mr. Davis, a name drawn from the musicians’ push for the novel as well as an errant phone call for the aforementioned Mr. Davis , serves as the name of the album, the band and the tour. Leslie Helpert aka Serpentfly will open the shows.
