Reid Genauer and the Assembly of Dust, which performed two sets on December 30 at Club Liquid in Manchester, NH, opted for three on New Years Eve. The opening electric set included a number of Genauer originals along with keyboardist Nate Wilsons composition Skyline which appears on the Percy Hill Live disc. The band emerged in acoustic formation for the opening five songs of set two sandwiched by Sideways Train and Etta James before bringing out Jiggle guitarist Gary Backstrom for Sometimes, Angel From Montgomery and Rachel. (Backstrom had opened the previous nights show with Charley Carrozo as the Coalboilers- in addtion, AOD sound engineer Jack Trifiro also handles front of house for Jiggle). Genauer and AOD, who are off until January 10, then welcomed the New Year during the third set between versions of Cabin John and Bus Driver.
