Uncle Tupelo/Son Volt co-founder Jay Farrar joined Yonder Mountain String Band for a song during the Yonders first set on New Years Eve. Farrar who opened the show, appeared with guitarist Mark Spencer who has been accompanying him as of late, for a version of Sing Me Back Home. The two sets of music at Denvers Paramount balanced Yonder originals with such covers as No Expectations, Spanish Harlem Incident and Dogs.
