Uncle Tupelo/Son Volt co-founder Jay Farrar joined Yonder Mountain String Band for a song during the Yonders first set on New Years Eve. Farrar who opened the show, appeared with guitarist Mark Spencer who has been accompanying him as of late, for a version of Sing Me Back Home. The two sets of music at Denvers Paramount balanced Yonder originals with such covers as No Expectations, Spanish Harlem Incident and Dogs. The entire New Years Eve performance will be available for purchase via Yonders new livedownloads program.
