A number of Memphis-area groups will come together for charity at the New Daisy Theater in Memphis on Friday. Yamagata, Stout, Minivan Blues Band and Parallel Parker will all take the stage for individual sets followed by a collective one at the night’s end. The evening will include a food and toy drive and audience members who donate a new toy or canned good will receive $2 off the $8 admission. This is a fine time of year when one can help those in need while checking out some new music (particularly true in this case where you may be unfamiliar with some (all?) of the groups on this bill).
